The Snow Came--and much has already left. 6 March 2017

A very happy thought today--in 2 months my Sweetheart and I will be married!

Another cause for rejoicing--my replacement as a certifier has been determined, and she will alternate weeks with me until I leave and she takes over for good.  That means I have just four days of certifying left.  The same sister will be taking over some of my other duties. However, I do not yet know of a replacement as the study group leader. All in good time, I suppose.

The choir director was pleased with our presentation of "Come Unto Jesus", with traditional text, but an alternate melody.  I have to admit that I was somewhat wishing that the snow would continue and give us a snow day [my school nurse attitude showing there], but the storm had passed by 6 a.m. when I went to practice.  By 5 in the afternoon the sun was shining brightly, and had melted nearly all the snow off of my car.  I did consider going to the market--but went back to the apartment first, and talked myself out of that!

I had thought a trip to the market might be necessary, as I needed to make a dish for our pot luck tomorrow.  But enough of the cabbage and broccoli and onion and carrot was available to make a nice-sized slaw.

I decided to stay at the Library during lunch, and for most of the time I worked on my family lines.  I decided that tomorrow I would stay after and work for an hour or so also.  I am hoping that by putting in 10 hours or so each week I will get through all of the descendencies.

Tonight my Sweetheart and I will do our weekly Skype call, a very happy thought. In 2 months it will be very nice to no longer have 1300 miles separating us, but for now I am so grateful for the electronics that soften the separation.
