One item on my "Before I leave Missouri ToDo List" that did not get done was a haircut? Driving in this area I had not noticed any shops or salons, so last night Google came to the rescue. The shop I was looking for did not pop up, but my friend gave me a general location. After making a reservation at a pricey salon for late afternoon, I decided to see if I could find the shop. At first I was not successful, but as I parked to go into a discount store, I noticed it. There was a bit of a wait, but Lorrie, the beautician, was masterful in her cutting, improved upon the picture I showed her of my preferred style, and she even told me what that style was called--a modified wedge, which is an easy style to maintain. Haircuts happened to be on sale, so I paid less than a third of the cost of the pricey place. (Yes, I canceled that appointment.)
Then I went to the discount store and found the style of sandals I really like (which seem to no longer be available in Missouri) so I used the savings on the haircut to buy sandals which will not be worn until I get back to Missouri!
This afternoon I figured out which outfits to Use while in the MTC, so I am even pretty organized! Quite miraculous for me. As always, blessings abound.

i looked out the window and what did I see? 29 April 2016
What an amazing place to be! As I looked out the front room window I saw a temple! The Oquihhr Mountain Temple is less than a mile from here, so I decided to attend a session.
Another amazing thing--I had to hunt for a parking place! The Jordan River Temple is closed for major renovations, so many Saints are flooding this temple. i missed my sweetheart, but. It was good to be in the House of the Lord.

Safely in The Promised Land 28 April 2016
Snow storm warning and snow showers hastened our travel across Wyoming and we arrived in Holiday and then me in South Jordan after being greeted with a spectacular sunset like fire on the mountain. The biggest glitch so far was forgetting that the mountain West has 9 months of cold, not 9/m
