I awoke fairly early this morning, and my allergy sypmtoms had been alleviated, even though my last antihistamine was yesterday. I still had a cough at times, but the itchy, watery eyes, etc. were all clear. Today I was scheduled to sing my composition "Testimony of Christ", so I consider this change in my condition to be a tender mercy.
I did sing and was able to share with several people in the branch that the melodies are great for memorizing scripture passages--and they are available on You Tube by doing a search on my first and [current] last name.
One of the sisters from the International Zone told me she was a music major and knows a lot about music. She said the melodies were very similar to Hebrew chants! I know at least some of my melodies have been inspired, so coming from the same source that should not be surprising. Anyway, my goal has always been to help others with these melodies, and apparently for some people today that goal was reached.
One month from today I will leave Utah. I keep getting surprised by how quickly the time is going.
I talked with my two sisters tonight! One can come to my wedding reception, but the other cannot. It was good to talk with each of them.
My Sweetheart and I will not get to talk for very long tonight, but tomorrow we will Skype--and that will be superb!
