A Nice Visit and Lots of Meetings. 7 March 2017

Last night my first visiting teacher, who now lives in Utah, called to let me know she was in Salt Lake City, and planned to come to the Library to see me.  It was not until I woke up this morning that I realized I had only one hour, from 11- noon, when I would be on the floor.  I texted--and she and her husband [the first bishop who called me to teach Gospel Doctrine back in the early 1990s] stopped in just a few minutes after 11!  It was nice to see them and to chat for a few minutes.  They are doing well, and are headed to the Midwest for a couple of weeks.

Most of the rest of the day I was in one meeting or another.  Study Group at 10, Recognition PotLuck [I actually missed the Recognition meeting, but did enjoy the pot luck], then a Certifiers meeting, Level 1 Review, ending with Prayer Meeting!  The first 2 hours I was in the Training room getting one of our new missionaries started on Level 1. It was a very full day!

I stayed after my shift to work on my Elsenz Frey descendents. I decided to quit after I began to notice I was making mistakes.  I had opted not to go up to the third floor in the natural light--maybe had I done that it would have gone better.  But I will work on this again on Thursday, maybe in the morning, saving going to the temple for late afternoon.  I am usually more alert in the morning.

Waiting now for the call from my Sweetheart.  We did get to talk a while this morning, which was so nice.  Last night he had sent me a picture of Spring Flowers, and I told him about the ones I have been seeing out here.  Nice to know that spring truly will arrive eventually.
