As I was talking with my Sweetheart tonight about not feeling much better, it dawned on me that my symptoms may well be allergy-related. A few weeks ago when I had the same kind of symptoms, the weather had warmed up and plants were springing up. Although it was cooler and rainy today, yesterday I noticed that the trees in the courtyard are bursting with blossoms!
So rather than continue to down myriad Vitamin C tablets, I looked for and found the bottle of antihistamine tablets I brought with me, the kind I can take without getting drowsy or worse. I took one and hope it kicks in soon!
My Sweetheart and I each extended some invitations today--and now realize we will have to be very careful with the remainder, as the seats in a sealing room are extremely limited. However, we hope to accommodate everyone who is traveling to us from a distance, and also family and friends. I am grateful to those who have volunteered their help in various ways, and surely wish all could attend.
I slept pretty well last night, so although I tried to nap a bit today, it just did not work. I decided after cleaning the oven [it is self-cleaning, so not strenuous] and doing two loads of laundry, that I would go over to the Library and work again on Eppingen. I guess that was following the Spirit, because I ran into more tangled descendency lines. I also found a couple of sisters to take to escalation--since I was researching on Thursday, not Saturday, I could just go downstairs and get it done.
The big advantage here in the Library is that I can go directly to the records in the microfilm. It took me a while to locate the correct film, but on the third try I found the two brothers, a Michael, and a Philipp Michael, who had been mixed up in Family Tree. It will not be an easy fix, as I think there are 11 children in that family, and each must be detached from the incorrect father, and attached to the correct father, before I can detach the wife and attach her to the correct husband. But it will be worth doing.
I actually came across this family as I was trying to resolve another issue that I may have created myself a few months ago. So the Lord can even use myl mistakes to point out other things that need to be fixed. At this point, I really just have one month left to work on these records--time is flying!
