Talking with My Sweetheart Makes Every Day Special! 4 January 2017

I slept very well last night, and I have wondered if the improvement is because I am avoiding sugar, and avoiding eating after 7 p.m. This evening it was a little difficult to avoid both  sugar and eating late, as I did not get to eat supper until about 6:30, and I would not have minded some sugar at all!  But so far my resolve has held.  I hope that will continue.  If  I am consistently sleeping better, that will be great motivation.

The start of the day was very nice, since not long after I finished breakfast my Sweetheart called. I am so glad when we get to talk in the morning as well as in the evening.

I had an idea of how to proceed with attaching sources to my Eppingen ancestors, and I began that, but I ran into records that just needed to be fixed.  Then I found that some of my fixes were not accurate, and that was quite frustrating.  I hope I can get them all straightened out.

Most of my time today at the Library was as a Trainer or as a Certifier.  I definitely prefer the training duties, so Wednesdays are typically not my favorite.  In the Training room I made progress on an in-service lesson, but it seemed like I might not be including all that was needed.  I will ask one of the other Trainers to take a look at it this coming week.

We had choir practice this afternoon, after a two-week break. We will sing "Our Savior's Love" next Monday, and "Behold, the Wounds in Jesus' Hands" for Mission Conference the following week. A week from Sunday, the double trio I am participating in will sing "May I Serve Thee".

The snow that was expected never arrived.  Supposedly there is a 100% chance of snow tonight, but the accumulation has been downgraded.  Now there should only be 1 to 3 inches instead of 4 to 8!

I was a little concerned about not having enough fruit for the Recognition potluck tomorrow, but I unexpectedly found nearly a dozen oranges to take in addition to the fruit I will cut up in the morning to make a fruit salad.  There will be plenty!

When I talk with my Sweetheart this evening I will have a good ending to the day.  Happy bookends are nice.
