My Sweetheart reminded me first thing this morning that our wedding will be four months from today! What a sweet thought!
I did not sleep well last night, but being awake in the middle of the night reminded me that one of the financial things I need to do needed to be taken care of, so I got up to do that. I realized a couple of other things while I was trying to get back to sleep, so it was not a totally negative experience. The one bad thing was that my brain was rather fuzzy at the Library today, and I nearly dozed off a couple of times.
One good thing that I found online today was a tutorial for a very helpful genealogical program, RecordSeek. This free app creates source citations. I had hoped to find enough information to build an in-service PowerPoint to use in our Level 2 training, but the YouTube video by a director of the BYU Family History Library is, I think, good enough and short enough that we could just provide a link, and remind the more experienced missionaries to view it as a refresher. I mentioned it during the in-service lesson today, and one missionary who has been here longer than I have did not seem to know anything about it, so we may decide to just show it as an in-service lesson.
I got some scheduling changes arranged today for several things coming up. I figured out that by splitting my P day, and taking my Research half-day on a different day, I will be able to attend all of the three-day conference called Roots Tech. I volunteered to stuff goodie bags the week before, which earned me a full 3-day pass. That will be an exhausting week, as I will work four nights in a row after attending the conference during the day for three of those days. But unlike concerts and entertainments, I actually want to go to this, so I will manage somehow!
When I got back to the apartment and got my email messages I discovered that one of the hosts for Sunday's Young Elders Dinners is sick, so she cannot provide the dinner, nor the place to hold it. I will have them come to my apartment, as I already have one other sister lined up to help, and I will find another. That did make a trip out to get a chicken part of my late afternoon, and it was a total blessing that there was neither snow nor rain to impede travel. However, this situation will be a spur to get backup plans organized for the dinners.
Once I talk this evening with my Sweetheart I will be quite ready to try to make up for last night's decreased sleep. He is returning to work after a little time off for his medical procedure. I hope the night will not be too difficult.
