Phone Calls and a Dinner. 15 January 2017

My Sweetheart and I talked a couple of times this morning both before and after he picked up Lilly to bring her back to my house.  Then I talked with the friend who kept Lilly for us.

I did get to the Tabernacle Choir broadcast this morning.  They opened the doors early this morning, which was nice because it was a bit cold. As usual, I enjoyed the songs and the message.

I had most things ready for the Young Elder Dinner before I left for church services.  That was a good thing, because our services went about 15 minutes late.

The couple who came to help me by being there for the young elders were very nice to be with.  The young elders work in the office that helps fix computers.  Our zone does not have a big problem with that, but the zone in which the couple serve apparently has some computers that need a lot of work, so it was fun to listen to them talk.

Once the elders left I enjoyed telling the couple a little of my story.  Isn't it great that each of us can have our story of how the Lord has manifest His love for us?  I am grateful for the tender mercies I have been shown.

My daughter returned from Florida late this afternoon.  By then the ice was gone, which was another blessing. I enjoyed hearing of some of the things she did on her trip.

My Sweetheart and I brought our day to a nice close with our conversation and then prayer together.
