I woke in the middle of the night, read scriptures, tossed and turned for several hours, finally put on audio of the New Testament and fell asleep for a few minutes anyway. So my new strategy is to move the Kindle Fire to the plug by my bed so I can just listen while I drift off to sleep. Anyway, it will be worth a try.
At lunchtime I was feeling the effects of lack of sleep, so I took two short naps in the lounge by the restroom. That got me through the rest of the day, which included two stints as Monitor/Greeter, a two-hour Trainers meeting in which it became apparent that I had missed some key elements in the in-service PowerPoint for this week. Although I had just enough time to fix it before the Library closed, we decided to flip it with the in-service scheduled for next week on safety issues.
I got a letter from my dear friend from back in Missouri. It is always a pleasure to hear from her.
This evening was the Hail and Farewell social for our branch. I realized while there that the next one will be when I am getting ready to leave. The time does seem to be racing by.
I just saw a Facebook post with the news that my youngest granddaugher broke her collarbone! I hope she recovers quickly.
This evening I got to Skype with my Sweetheart--he is not feeling very well, but he sure looks good to me!
Like the title says, this will be a short post. A big snow was forecast, so there was the chance of a snowday tomorrow, but the advisory was down-graded quite a lot, so we are out of luck on that score, probably. Yeah, I still appreciate snowdays!
