I began the day in the Training room. The sister who was sick yesterday was OK today, so we had to make some ajustments, since we have only four computers for trainees, and we had five trainees. One of the other sisters went back to get a laptop, since she also needed to bring her own flashdrive so that I could have the one I loaned to her yesterday back. She ended up going out to one of the computers in the office area, because of issues accessing some of the sites. However, by the end of the day we had three of the trainees either fully done with Level 1, or very nearly so. The three of them went out to shadow positions--and one of the elders ended up filling a position as Greeter! The other two sisters are not as driven to complete the training quickly, especially the sister who was sick yesterday.
This afternoon I had several people to certify, at least one of whom signed up rather late, so I sure was not well prepared to work with her. Several of the people did fine, but some I had to ask to come back later, after I went over with them the things they needed to know when they came back. I find the certifying process to be quite taxing for me as certifier, as well as for those who are trying to certify.
The last hour I spent figuring out the Young Elder Dinners--and I just discovered that I somehow saved a different document than I thought I had, so I will need to redo it. A huge blessing is that I had printed a copy, so I was able to use it to email the host missionaries. I guess I will spend part of P day tomorrow redoing that document.
My Sweetheart and I got to talk for a little bit this morning, and we will again tonight. I can always count on a good end to the day!
